The biomarker

Meet suPAR.
Soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor.

A stable, circulating measure of the chronic inflammatory load your body is carrying - and one of the strongest single blood markers of long-term health risk in the published clinical literature.

What it is

suPAR is released into your bloodstream by activated immune cells. Unlike acute markers like CRP - which fluctuate day to day with every cold and workout - suPAR reflects your stable, baseline level of chronic systemic inflammation. The kind that quietly drives aging.

What it tells you

Your suPAR level is one of the most powerful independent predictors of long-term health outcomes ever identified - for cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease, cancer, cognitive decline, and frailty. It tracks how your body is aging, not just how old you are.

What makes it different

Most biomarkers either measure acute states or static traits. suPAR is unusual. Stable enough to give a reliable signal. Modifiable enough to change with how you live. That makes it the rare measurement you can actually use.

What you'll receive

Every Supar® test returns three biomarkers - a single, clinically grounded readout of where you stand and how you're trending.

Sample result - three numbers, one trajectory.

The point isn't your first number.

The point is whether your trajectory bends.

Your first suPAR result establishes your baseline - where you stand against population norms for your age, sex, and risk profile. That is useful. But the real power is in the second result. And the third.

Because once you have a baseline, every subsequent measurement is a verdict on what you've done. Cleaner sleep. Better food. Less alcohol. More movement. Smoking cessation. Stress reduction. The literature shows suPAR responds to these interventions - and we built our protocol around serial testing so you can see it happen.

Why suPAR

Six reasons this is different from every other biological age test.

01

Clinically validated. Not just commercially available.

suPAR is a CE-IVD certified clinical biomarker, used in hospital emergency departments and clinics for over twenty years. It is based on the assay Suparnostic® from Virogates A/S. That puts it in a fundamentally different category from methylation tests and wellness assays - when the same assay drives published trials and hospital triage, the number you receive means something real.

02

Responds to how you actually live.

A test only matters if it can detect change. Most methylation clocks barely move in response to lifestyle interventions. suPAR does: smoking cessation, weight loss, exercise, and reduced alcohol have all been shown to lower it. A measurement that can't reflect change can't guide it.

03

Built on over 1,250 clinical studies.

Over one million suPAR tests performed as of January 2024, and more than 1,250 published studies (PubMed, September 2026) - across cardiovascular, metabolic, kidney, cancer, and infectious disease cohorts spanning hundreds of thousands of patients. Roughly ten times the clinical base of most competing biological age tests.

04

The most reliable measure of chronic inflammation.

Acute markers like high-sensitivity CRP fluctuate with every cold, hard workout, or bad night's sleep. suPAR captures something different: the stable, low-grade inflammation that drives long-term aging - what scientists call inflammaging. Stable enough to trust. Modifiable enough to track.

Why chronic inflammation matters→
05

A single number that captures whole-body risk.

Most people don't need a panel of two hundred biomarkers. They need one question answered: am I aging on schedule, or faster? suPAR integrates signals across immune, endothelial, metabolic, and organ-level systems - the single measurement with the most predictive power for how long, and how well, you live.

How suPAR integrates whole-body signals→
06

Built for repeat testing.

A single number is a snapshot. A trajectory is a strategy. suPAR was designed for serial measurement - reliable, fast, and stable enough that you can test, intervene, and re-test to see whether your trajectory is bending in the right direction.

The state of biological age testing

Most biological age tests can't tell you if anything you're doing is working.

Methylation clocks. Pace-of-aging scores. Glycan profiles. The biological age market has exploded - and most of it has a quiet problem: poor test-retest reliability, weak response to lifestyle change, and almost none of it used in real clinical medicine.

If a measurement of your health can't reliably reflect changes in your health, what is it actually measuring?

We built Supar® on a different premise: a biomarker already clinically validated, already responsive, already in the medical literature.

How suPAR compares

The honest comparison most companies won't show you.

We respect the science behind methylation clocks. Some are excellent research tools. But the consumer market has blurred the distinction between research-grade and clinical-grade, and between statistical scores and clinically validated measurements. Here is the comparison, with citations.

We will be the first to say: the right test depends on the question. For research on cellular aging mechanisms, methylation clocks remain irreplaceable. For tracking your real-world healthspan trajectory - and for proving that your interventions are working - Supar® is the most clinically grounded option available.

Twenty years. Over a million tests. The science behind a single number.

This is not a new idea. It is a new application of a clinically established one.

suPAR was first described as a clinically relevant biomarker in the early 2000s. It has been studied in over 1,250 published clinical studies (PubMed, September 2026). It has been used in emergency departments across Europe for over a decade for risk-stratification and triage. It has been validated in cohort studies including Inter99, the Copenhagen General Population Study, MESA, and dozens more - covering hundreds of thousands of patients.

We are taking a measurement that the medical literature has converged on as one of the most powerful single biomarkers of long-term health risk - and making it available, accessible, and longitudinal.

For longevity, optimization, and aesthetic practitioners

A single clinically validated number your patients understand - and can act on.

We partner with longevity clinics, high-end medical spas, executive health programs, and aesthetic practices to offer Supar® testing as a foundational measurement in their healthspan, optimization, and aesthetic protocols.
01

One number patients understand.

No fifty-page report. No two hundred biomarkers. One clinically validated measurement of how your patient's body is aging, with a trajectory they will return to track.

02

Built for the clinic-patient relationship.

The Supar® test is sold only to clinics with a qualified clinician. Interpretation, intervention, and follow-up sit where they belong - in the patient-physician relationship you've built.

03

Recurring measurement, recurring value.

Because the value of suPAR is in the trajectory, follow-up testing is built into the protocol. That means recurring patient engagement, recurring revenue, and the kind of measurable outcomes that build a clinic's reputation.

For aesthetic medicine

Treat the wrinkle, or treat what's causing the wrinkle.

The face ages from the outside in - sun, smoke, sleep loss, glycation, alcohol. But it also ages from the inside out. Chronic systemic inflammation is one of the primary upstream drivers of the biological processes that show up as visible aging: collagen degradation, oxidative skin damage, capillary fragility, accelerated epidermal turnover.

Research using established biological aging measures has shown that systemic biological aging tracks closely with visible facial aging. The biology of the face mirrors the biology of the body - and chronic inflammation is the through-line.

Supar® gives aesthetic practitioners a clinical-grade measurement of the systemic inflammatory load that contributes to their patients' visible aging. It complements topical, injectable, and energy-based aesthetic protocols by giving the patient - and the practitioner - an objective way to track whether their lifestyle is supporting their aesthetic outcomes, or quietly undermining them.

01

Sleep & recovery

Chronic sleep loss elevates systemic inflammation and accelerates visible skin aging.

02

Alcohol load

Heavy use shows up in suPAR before it shows up on the face.

03

Smoking & vaping

Among the strongest modifiers of both suPAR and dermal collagen quality.

04

Metabolic health

Glycation, oxidative stress, and inflammatory load track together.

What "biological age" actually means

The honest answer about biological age.

"Biological age" is not a clinical endpoint. It is not a measurement of how old your cells are. There is no test - methylation, glycan, blood-based, or otherwise - that can directly read out the age of a biological system.

What biological age tests actually do is take a measurable feature of your body - DNA methylation patterns, glycan profiles, blood biomarker levels - and translate it into an age-equivalent number using a statistical model trained on either chronological age, long-term outcomes, or pace of aging.

The number you receive is a statistical translation of your risk profile. It is useful - sometimes very useful - because it lets you compare your risk trajectory to population norms, and watch whether it improves over time.

But it only matters if the underlying measurement is reliable, the model is rigorously trained, and the endpoint it predicts is one that actually matters: long-term health.

That is why we chose suPAR. Its underlying measurement is among the most analytically stable in the field. Its clinical evidence base is one of the largest of any biomarker. And it is a top-tier predictor of the only endpoint that ultimately matters.

We will never tell you Supar® measures your cellular age. We will tell you it is one of the best ways to quantify, and track, your real long-term health trajectory. We believe that distinction matters.
